Due to EU Equine health and safety requirements, Simplytrak installed a bespoke solution for Richmond Horseboxes to allow them to pass accreditation allowing them to transport horses throughout Europe. Using our IP67 rated tracker and a number of temperature sensors, our client could monitor the temperature of their horseboxes using our desktop portal or smartphone app. Additionally, email alerts would trigger if the temperature fell outside normal operating range which would allow the driver to stop and investigate any potential issues with the live transport. Our client passed the examination and is fully accredited to carry horses across Europe.
