Business Description

Simplytrak provide complete systems for asset management and tracking, monitoring and protecting mobile assets. We are also very active in the monitoring of static assets and relaying of performance data (M2M). Simplytrak systems are developed entirely in-house and are used by companies who need to know where their vehicles, mobile workforce or mobile assets are at any given time, where they have been and how they are being used.

History

2001: Simplytrak established to provide vehicle tracking solutions in the UK. Development begins on vehicle tracking software and hardware.

2002: Vehicle tracking system launched.

2003: Begins building up a nationwide network of distributors across the UK

2004:Awarded several large scale contracts including Local Authorities – who remain with us today.

2005: Distributors recruited across Europe. Simplytrak becomes the first company to launch a personal tracking device in the UK.  

2006: Merges with Creative Cellular Solutions Ltd (our largest UK distributor) Operational Headquarters relocated to East Yorkshire; R&D Centre Established in Salisbury. Simplytrak expands our product range to include other asset tracking devices to capitalise on the growing need of organisations wishing to track more than just vehicles. 100% in-house leasing implemented.

2007: FOCSA (Europe’s largest provider of environmental services) selects Simplytrak to design, develop and implement a bespoke tracking and data communication system for its entire fleet of waste collection vehicles. Customer base doubled during this year. New, web-based tracking system launched. O2 selects Simplytrak as the dedicated SME partner within its Accelerator program

2008: O2 starts selling Simplytrak products direct to its customer database. Launch of generator monitoring and M2M systems. In conjunction with D2i and Sequena, Simplytrak launches the Lean & Green Consortium. Simplytrak now have the broadest range of systems for asset tracking in the marketplace.

2009: Simplytrak release the all new comprehensive web-based Google Earth system and follow this with new dealerships in Ghana, Nigeria, Libya, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Australia and New Zealand. Full integration with Euroscan systems for temperature controlled tracking completed and sold in Australasia. Simplytrak translate the new software into – Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), German and Dutch - more languages to follow shortly. Sister company Blu-Media Limited launched. Fixed-IP Limited commenced operations to handle secure data communications for the M2M market and produce smartphone apps. MTN Ghana (Africa’s largest mobile phone providers) choose Simplytrak’s generator monitoring system to protect their cell-sites across the country.

2010: Simplytrak expand further into Africa with Government contracts in Zambia and Namibia. Blu-Media contracts with the Fire Service, Police and NHS. The new Simplytrak OBDII system is approved in the USA by the National Organisation for Youth Safety (NOYS) with 90 million members for assisting in reducing accidents for young drivers and making them safer. Our system is also approved by the Carbonfund.org to help reduce vehicle emissions. Simplytrak USA is launched and expansion into South America begins. Simplytrak is now integrated with various generator control systems allowing remote monitoring of all aspects of the generators in the field dramatically reducing costs and increasing uptime of units worldwide. This product alone expands our reach to Vietnam, Pakistan, Afghanistan and more African countries. All Simplytrak software now available in any language as required.
